
Patrick Martin Lane is a writer from Boston, Massachusetts and a veteran of the U.S. Navy submarine service. A graduate of Boston College and Johns Hopkins University, he is currently an MFA graduate student at Fairfield University. His forthcoming novel-in-stories, The Jumping-off Place, follows a young Bostonian navigating early sobriety in the years after the financial crisis. His fiction draws upon working-class Irish-American life, trauma, addiction, and recovery. He lives in Rheine, Germany.
